Amazing $30 Map-Making Humble Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop Game Master's Fantasy

After a short availability earlier this year, this cartography software collection is back with an encore available until Dec. 2. Hailed as an extensive collection of mapping tools created by ProFantasy Software over the years, the complete package is valued at over $1,300. Additionally, there exist three different bundles available here.

The Main Attraction

The standout feature is certainly permanent access to the CC3+ software, a professional-grade mapping application which enables users to create everything from fantasy overworld maps, detailed regional charts, urban layouts, and most notably, tactical combat environments.

Bundle Tiers

Entry Level

The cheapest bundle tier, at a minimum cost of $1, features merely four from the thirty-nine available products: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Monster Token Pack 1, Castle Source Maps, and Source Maps: Cities!. This one's only for cartographers who already have CC3+, yet it provides new fantasy symbol styles for landscape mapping, more than 750 monster tokens for use in virtual tabletops, over twenty-five aerial castle designs with 470 associated map tokens, eight complete urban centers, plus seventy-plus building interiors.

Intermediate Package

The eight-item bundle starting at fifteen dollars is where things get more interesting through inclusion of a lifetime CC3+ license, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. Cartographer's Annual is the annual collection from the company's long-running monthly subscription service which includes a variety CC3+ add-ons like map collections and additional utilities. The Isometric Cities enables display cities with an extra dimension using angled views from multiple angles. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping is a 760-page suitable for novices and experts, packed with guidance and instructions for the map-making process.

Every volume from the Annual series are included here, alongside a slew of additional tools and content that can help users craft complete solar systems, or focus exclusively on traditional fantasy world-building: combat arenas, dungeons, urban centers, and continents from almost any perspective. You can even design character portraits. For $30 as opposed to $15, the full bundle is so worth it, especially for cartographers with temporary CC3+ access and want to upgrade to lifetime. But it's obviously an even better deal for map-making newbies considering you even get introductory guides to help you get started. The sole limitation is that while the purchase is available across platforms, the applications only function with Windows systems.

Philanthropic Aspect

As with other Humble Bundles, a portion of each sale supports charitable organizations. For this one, that's Save the Children, established in 1919 by Eglantyne Jebb focused on improving the lives of children worldwide via educational programs, medical services, and crisis response.
