Intensive Moscow's Attacks Cut Power Across Kyiv

Energy infrastructure targeted in Ukraine
The country's energy systems have faced increased attacks in the past few days

Throughout the evening, Russian aerial assaults have resulted in electricity outages in multiple districts of Ukraine's capital, the Ukrainian capital.

A number of civilians were injured while local people in the city's east were experienced blackouts and encountered disruption to water supplies, as stated by city officials.

Meanwhile, a minor was lost their life in a different assault in the Zaporizhzhia region in the southern area, according to regional authorities.

Russian forces has increased attacks on electrical systems over the past few days, while Ukrainian leadership has called for "substantial measures" from partner nations to apply pressure on Russia.

"The necessity is not symbolic gestures but firm measures - from the United States, European nations and the major economies - in supplying air defence systems and applying restrictions," he wrote in a social media post.

He said that hundreds of unmanned aircraft and over thirty missiles struck energy facilities, labeling such strikes as "premeditated" and against "everything that sustains normal life" as the weather cools.

Government representatives said Russia was "inflicting a massive strike" and technical staff were laboring to restore power.

A wave of strikes damaged electrical systems and apartment buildings in the capital.

Five out of the nine people wounded in the attacks on the city have been hospitalized, per statements from local officials.

Local officials said the metropolitan region experienced significant strikes during nighttime hours. A minor was killed and three other people were hurt.

The strikes follow periods of air raids in the area, parts of which are currently controlled by Moscow's military.

All of Ukraine is in a state of readiness for hypersonic Kinzhal missile strikes, which are more difficult to detect.

Authorities told reporters that Russia was intentionally trying to demolish the country's energy grid, with assaults already disrupting fuel infrastructure.

Authorities confirmed technical personnel and government agencies were anticipating more assaults.
